However, Sanders has never coached in the NFL before, raising concerns about his readiness for the role. Jones has praised Sanders’ recruiting skills, but also pointed out that his ability to assemble a top-notch staff is crucial for on-field success.
The Cowboys would be a significant upgrade for Sanders, who starred as cornerback for the team from 1995 to 1999 and is a franchise legend.
