The Washington Commanders will face off against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Saturday night in the NFC Divisional Round. The game will be played inside the domed stadium, which has been the home of the Lions for nearly 25 years.
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn decided to have his team practice outdoors on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching below freezing and windier conditions than those at their upcoming game. When asked about the decision, Quinn simply replied “Have a good day.” This move is reminiscent of former Lions coach Matt Patricia’s unconventional approach in 2018.
