Sapphire Teases Compact RX 9070 XT GPU with Dual-Fan Pulse Cooler

Sapphire has teased its new Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU, which features the company’s classic dual-fan Sapphire Pulse cooler design. The GPU is likely to be a custom variant of the RX 9070 XT, and recent benchmarks suggest it could compete with Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080 Super in terms of raster performance.

The Sapphire Pulse GPU design appears to be compact, with a standard dual-slot configuration that fits into typical mini-ITX cases. This is a departure from other AIB GPUs, which often require larger cases due to their bulkier designs.

While the visual design remains largely unchanged, the color scheme has evolved over the past few generations. The new design features more streamlined black and red accents, potentially making it easier to blend into PC builds.

Benchmarks have not yet been released, but Sapphire’s Pulse GPU is expected to be highly competitive in its class. Fans of the classic Pulse design may be disappointed by the revised color scheme, but overall, the compact design is a welcome addition to the market.
