Alaska Airlines Expands Nonstop Flights to Oregon and Texas

Alaska Airlines has announced three new nonstop flights around the state, connecting Portland to Houston, Eugene, and San Diego. Starting this spring, passengers can enjoy daily flights between Portland and Houston, as well as twice-daily roundtrips between Portland and Eugene. The airline is also launching a new route from Medford to San Diego.

The new routes will fly year-round, providing convenient travel options for Oregonians. With these additions, Alaska Airlines now serves 58 nonstop destinations from Portland, including four international routes.

For the first time, Alaska Airlines will offer daily flights between Portland and Houston, connecting two dynamic destinations that are attractive to business and leisure travelers. The airline has also resumed twice-daily nonstop service between Portland and Eugene, offering a convenient connection in Portland for itineraries that require a layover.

The new Medford-San Diego route will provide late morning and mid-afternoon departures from both cities, supporting Alaska Airlines’ investment in San Diego and marking its 41st destination from there.

Alaska Airlines is committed to safety, customer care, operational excellence, financial performance, and sustainability. The airline offers a blend of comfort and caring service, including no change fees, legroom in First Class and Premium Class, and generous Mileage Plan benefits.

With these new routes, Oregonians can enjoy more travel options and convenient flight schedules. Tickets for the new flights are available now at alaskaair.com.
