Kanye West has been avoiding the US for months due to multiple lawsuits facing him, not because he’s skipping visits with his children.
The 47-year-old rapper and entrepreneur has been globetrotting with wife Bianca Censori, visiting destinations such as Tuscany, Paris, Russia, Tokyo, and Dubai, while his legal troubles accumulate.
West’s absence from America is due to ongoing lawsuits including a wrongful termination and sexual harassment lawsuit filed by former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, who claims West subjected her to repeated incidents of harassment. Additionally, an anonymous staff member has alleged that West threatened to kill him during the 2024 presidential campaign, while another former project manager has accused Kanye of withholding payment and violating labor rules.
Sources close to the situation say West is terrified of facing these lawsuits as a witness in Diddy’s federal case, with whom he was once close friends. Despite maintaining his innocence, West fears being dragged into litigation around Combs’ case.
As the lawsuit progress and his children deal with the trauma of living in fire-ravaged Los Angeles, West may soon have no choice but to return and face the music.
