Tiger Golf League (TGL) is set to revolutionize the professional golf scene with its innovative approach, and its new venue, the SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida, is already generating buzz. The league has been dubbed as a fusion of advanced technology and live action, promising an unparalleled viewing experience.
At the heart of this innovation lies the SoFi Center’s massive simulator screen, measuring 64 feet by 46 feet, developed in collaboration with Full Swing. Additionally, the stadium features a short-game complex with three virtual greens and over 3,800 square feet of real-life putting space. The hitting area includes fairway, rough, and sand, mirroring Augusta National’s layout.
One of the coolest aspects of this Arena is the rotating GreenZone, which spans an impressive 22,475-square-foot surface. This feature allows players to hit from different angles, testing their skills in a unique way. Furthermore, TGL has designed over 25 quirky holes, blending risk-and-reward elements with lengthy par 5s and challenging par 3s.
The SoFi Center can accommodate up to 1,500 fans, providing an intimate yet immersive atmosphere for spectators. The venue’s location on the Palm Beach State College campus also makes sense, given the high concentration of PGA Tour players in Florida.
As TGL prepares to launch its inaugural season, interest is building rapidly, with tickets already sold out for several matches. With its cutting-edge technology and engaging gameplay, TGL promises an exciting new chapter in professional golf.
