Apple Watch 2025 Lineup Unveiled with Exciting New Features

Apple has big plans for its upcoming 2025 watchOS lineup, including a redesigned Apple Watch SE 3. In his latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman teased several exciting features coming to the new devices.

The Apple Watch SE 3 is expected to get bigger display options, with sizes potentially ranging from 41mm to 45mm. The device may also become thinner, similar to the Series 10 in 2024. This redesign aims to improve user experience while maintaining its entry-level status.

In addition to the SE 3, Gurman reports on several new features for other Apple Watch models. Satellite connectivity will be added to the Apple Watch Ultra 3, allowing users to send text messages using satellites when they don’t have a cell signal or Wi-Fi connection.

The 2025 lineup is also expected to support 5G RedCap network access, which promises faster speeds on cellular versions without excessive battery drain. This feature will be available on at least the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3.

Apple plans to introduce high-blood pressure detection in its upcoming models, including the Series 11 and Ultra 3. While specific readings may not be provided, users will receive a notification if they are in a state of hypertension.

The company is also revamping the Health app with new features and changes, although Gurman’s exact plan remains unclear. Furthermore, an AI-based coaching service is expected to be added, combining existing services like Apple Fitness+ and Training Load.

While details about each feature are still emerging, Apple Watch enthusiasts can expect significant upgrades in 2025. BGR will provide updates as more information becomes available on the Apple Watch SE 3, Series 11, and Ultra 3.
