Samsung has confirmed its registration process for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, offering $50 vouchers to those interested in registering their interest in the Galaxy AI and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
For US consumers, this process includes enhanced trade-in values of up to $900 for last year’s flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra, as well as a separate offer of $300 credit for “qualifying products.” However, it remains unclear what these qualifying products are.
A more extensive offer is available in South Korea, with Samsung’s “Galaxy Easy Compensation” program allowing consumers to check the value of their phone online before sending it. This program currently runs on Galaxy S models as far back as the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z models as far back as Z Flip3 and ZFold 3.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to open after the launch event on January 22, with deliveries starting on February 7. Samsung typically offers exclusive deals during this pre-order period, including free upgrades to storage and generous trade-ins on a range of smartphones.
