Inauguration festivities are set to bring together some of the world’s wealthiest individuals, including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg. According to Forbes estimates, these three billionaires are worth a combined $747 billion.
Among them is Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has pledged over $200 million towards Trump’s campaign and has donated an estimated $1.1 billion to various causes, making him the richest person in the world.
Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder, and Mark Zuckerberg, Meta founder, will be seated together on the inauguration dais alongside Elon Musk. The three billionaires have a history of clashing with Trump, but have since shown support for his presidential campaign.
Other high-profile attendees include billionaire backers Miriam Adelson, Tilman Fertitta, Todd Ricketts, and Kelly Loeffler, who have all donated significant amounts to Trump’s inauguration fund.
The fund has raised over $170 million so far, exceeding the previous record set by Trump’s 2016 inauguration. Billionaires with a minimum donation of $1 million will receive six tickets to various events in the days leading up to the inauguration.
The big weekend is expected to bring together some of the world’s most influential people, including former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, as well as performers like Carrie Underwood and the Village People.
