2025 Grammys Will Proceed with Wildfire Relief Efforts in Place

The 67th annual Grammy Awards will take place as scheduled on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. However, the event has a new focus due to the devastating wildfires that affected the area last year.

The Recording Academy has shifted its attention from typical post-Grammy festivities to wildfire relief efforts. This change includes canceling or modifying numerous events, including pre-Grammy week gatherings and parties hosted by major record labels like Universal Music Group, BMG, and Warner Music Group.

To address the crisis, the Recording Academy and MusiCares have launched a $1 million donation for Los Angeles fire relief, with additional contributions bringing the total to $2 million in emergency aid. Other organizations, such as the Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund, are also redirecting funds to support wildfire relief efforts.

The 2025 Grammy Awards will still be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Fans can stream the event through various TV streaming services or watch the red carpet show with interviews and fashion footage on YouTube and APNews.com.

Notable nominees include Beyoncé, who leads the pack with 11 nominations, followed by Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX. Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter also boast six nominations each.
