UFC star Conor McGregor has been sued by a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted in 2023 after an NBA Finals game. The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, claims that McGregor dragged the woman to a bathroom and committed the assault at his behest.
McGregor’s lawyer called the allegations “false” and said the State’s Attorney concluded there was no case to pursue during a 2023 criminal investigation into the same claims. However, the woman is seeking compensation for medical treatment, damages, and other relief.
This lawsuit comes two months after another woman who accused McGregor of raping her in 2018 won a civil claim against him, requiring him to pay $257,000. McGregor denies all allegations and has not fought in the UFC since his last loss in 2021.
The woman in Tuesday’s lawsuit is seeking damages for past and future medical treatment, as well as compensatory damages. Her attorney says she filed a police report shortly after the incident but was told to drop the case due to lack of evidence.
