Comedian Dave Chappelle targeted Sean “Diddy” Combs during Saturday Night Live’s (SNL) first episode of 2025, criticizing his alleged involvement in underground sex parties.
Chappelle, who hosted the show for the fourth time, began his monologue with comments on the Los Angeles wildfires and Donald Trump’s bizarre comments about eating cats and dogs. However, he quickly shifted his attention to Combs, facing multiple charges including sex trafficking.
“I’ve been in trouble before but this guy Puffy is in an enormous amount of trouble,” Chappelle said during his set. When friends asked him why he wasn’t involved in Combs’ parties, Chappelle jokingly replied that he was ugly and assumed nobody would call him if they knew he didn’t attend.
Chappelle also referenced the federal raid on Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles, where agents seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil as evidence. The comedian poked fun at the allegations, saying that Combs must be committed to his lifestyle since he had such a large quantity of baby oil.
The show’s musical guest GloRilla joined Chappelle on stage for performances from her mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang and solo debut Glorious.
