Saquon Barkley Sets Franchise Record in Eagles’ Win Over Rams

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley set a franchise record for most rushing yards in a postseason game with 205, leading his team to a 28-22 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC divisional round. The win propels the Eagles to the NFC Championship Game, where they will host the Washington Commanders.

Barkley’s impressive performance included two rushing touchdowns of 60-plus yards and a 78-yard TD run with under five minutes to play that sealed the deal for his team. He now has the third-most rushing yards in a season, including playoffs, in NFL history, trailing only Terrell Davis’ marks of 2,331 yards in 1997 and 2,476 yards in 1998.

The win marked a memorable moment for Barkley, who expressed his excitement about being part of such an iconic game. He also credited the help of former running backs LeSean McCoy and Marshall Faulk, who provided him with advice on how to approach games in snowy conditions.
