Ravens Face Bills Without Top Receiver Zay Flowers

The Baltimore Ravens will be without top wide receiver Zay Flowers for Sunday’s Divisional playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. The injury, which occurred in the regular-season finale, has forced Flowers to miss a second straight playoff game. In addition to Flowers, the Ravens have listed several other players as inactive, including Beau Brade, Rasheen Ali, and Marcus Williams.

Despite missing their top receiver, the Ravens adjusted well without Flowers last week against the Steelers, relying on tight ends and extra linemen in a run-heavy approach. This strategy could be repeated against the Bills, who Flowers only managed one catch for 10 yards in their Week 4 meeting.

Rashod Bateman, who has five touchdowns over the past four games, is expected to see more action as Baltimore’s No. 1 wide receiver. Meanwhile, the Ravens have opted to activate Keaton Mitchell as their No. 3 running back, while Deonte Harty remains on the roster.

The Bills are coming off a strong regular season and are fully healthy heading into the game. Backup running back Ray Davis will play despite dealing with a concussion, which resulted in 442 rushing yards and five total touchdowns this season.
