The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025 will bring together top leaders from around the world for a five-day summit in Davos, Switzerland, starting on January 20. The meeting will feature prominent figures from business, government, civil society, and culture.
India is sending its largest-ever delegation to the event, comprising Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, and other state officials, along with nearly 100 CEOs and leaders. Notable speakers include US President-elect Donald Trump, who will deliver a virtual address on January 23, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who will give a speech on January 21.
A recent WEF survey highlights the growing risks to economic growth, with armed conflict topping the list for 2025. Extreme weather, which was the top concern in 2024, ranks as the second-largest danger.
