Samsung has reaffirmed its plans to release Android 15, or One UI 7, with the upcoming Galaxy S series devices in 2025. A post on their website highlighted positive reviews from the beta program and confirmed that One UI 7 will be officially released with the Galaxy S25 series. The update is expected to expand to other Galaxy devices after the launch of the new smartphones.
The company reports that testers for the One UI 7 beta registered at more than twice the rate of those who tested the previous version, One UI 6. Samsung’s event on January 22 will feature the official announcement of the Galaxy S25 series and likely more details about the rollout of One UI 7.
Reservations are still open for the new phones, offering a $50 credit and other additional savings.
