SK Hynix saw its profit growth slow in the fourth quarter compared to the previous three months, with increased output from Chinese rivals impacting the memory chip industry. The South Korean company reported an operating profit of 8.1 trillion won ($5.6 billion), a 15% increase from the prior quarter, down from a 29% rise in the third quarter. Revenue rose 12.5% to 19.8 trillion won during the same period. Despite resilience, SK Hynix’s profit growth remains subdued as global competition intensifies.
