Spirit Airlines Revamps Passenger Conduct Rules with New Dress Code

Spirit Airlines has introduced updated guidelines for passenger conduct and attire, effective January 22, 2025. The new dress code prohibits see-through clothing, overly exposed private areas, and body art deemed lewd or offensive. Passengers may also be denied boarding if they are barefoot. The changes include provisions for passengers to be removed for disorderly behavior, intoxication, failure to follow instructions, perceived security risks, contagious diseases, or inability to fasten seat belts. Spirit Airlines has not publicly commented on the updated policy beyond what’s outlined in their contract of carriage.
