Freed Women Share harrowing captives’ tales in Gaza Tunnel

Four Israeli women freed after months of captivity in Gaza shared their harrowing experiences during their time in captivity. Relatives described living in a dark tunnel with limited sustenance and isolation. One relative recalled being shot in the leg during an attack on October 7, 2014. Among the women were Daniella Gilboa, Karina Ariev, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag. After nearly a year of captivity, they were freed on Saturday, with one relative recounting how she emerged from the tunnel questioning if anyone was still alive. The release marks a significant step in the ongoing story of their captivity.
