Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni: Court Battle Continues

A court battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has been rescheduled with new dates set for key events in their legal case. Both cases involving Lively’s complaint against her and her ex, Justin Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, and others are now scheduled for trial on March 9, 2026. A previously planned pre-trial hearing to address potential gag orders was rescheduled from February 12 to February 3.

Lively, a 37-year-old actress, sued her former director, actor Ryan Reynolds through her partner Justin Baldoni and others in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in December. The complaint alleges sexual harassment and a defamation campaign launched as retaliation against her for speaking out about misconduct allegations.

Baldoni has denied the harassment claims but countersued Lively, her husband, and their publicist, accusing them of defamation and extortion. Both sides have issued strong statements, with Baldoni’s lawyer claiming Lively’s claims are “completely false” and a legal expert predicting a settlement is likely, noting that most civil cases do so.

The case is set to be intense before any potential resolution, with high-stakes legal battles expected due to the involvement of experienced lawyers.
