Bluey, a beloved Australian cartoon featuring the Heeler dog family, set a new streaming record as the top show of 2024. With an impressive 55.62 billion minutes of watch time on Disney+, it claimed the ARTEY for the most streamed streaming title that year. Aimed at children aged 2 to 11, Bluey accounted for 43% of total viewing minutes across all platforms.
Other top shows included Grey’s Anatomy with 47.85 billion minutes on Hulu and Netflix, Family Guy with 42.44 billion on Hulu, and NCIS with 35.91 billion minutes across multiple platforms.
Bluey also saw a boost with the release of 20 miniseries in July, focusing on sibling interactions, and plans for a feature film based on the show. Creator Joe Brumm emphasized the series’ potential to evolve into an experiential family movie.
