The Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued an active recall for a batch of fully cooked breaded chicken breast nuggets sold in nine U.S. states. The product, branded by Wegmans, was contaminated with bone fragments due to improper handling during production.
Consumers who purchased the 46-ounce plastic packages labeled with a best-by date of August 26, 2025, and the establishment number “P-33944” should check their freezers for the recalled product and return it to their local Wegmans store for a refund.
For those experiencing symptoms after eating the recalled nuggets, consulting a healthcare provider is advised. For questions or assistance with the recall, contact Wegmans Food Markets at 1-855-934-3663 between Monday-Friday (8:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET) and Saturday-Sunday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET).
