NASCAR’s Clash Heads to Bowman Gray Stadium for 1st Time

The NASCAR Clash, a high-speed stock car racing event, is making its debut at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, this weekend. The premier series will compete on the 0.25-mile oval nicknamed “The Madhouse” with four heat races and a main event.

Saturday’s schedule features mainly sunny weather with temperatures ranging from 56 to 62 degrees. The Sunday forecast is also sunny, but cooler at around 48 to 51 degrees.

The Clash weekend schedule includes:

– Thursday: Haulers enter Charlotte Motor Speedway for inspection.
– Friday: Haulers exit Charlotte and enter Bowman Gray Stadium for driver-crew chief meetings.
– Saturday: Garage open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by NASCAR Cup Series racing with heat races at 8:30, 9, 9:15, and 10:30 p.m.
– Sunday: The last chance qualifier starts at 6 p.m., followed by the main event at 8 p.m.

The track activity includes practice sessions, qualifying, and modifieds racing. Fans can watch on Fox for the main event.
