Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg Talks Company Transparency Amid $25 Million Settlement

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussed the challenges of internal transparency at an all-hands meeting, where he avoided addressing a $25 million settlement with Donald Trump. The company will pay $22 million for Trump’s Presidential Library.

Zuckerberg noted that everything he says internally leaks, leading to the decision to use a poll system in place of direct questions. He cited concerns about discussing topics that could “destroy value” and instead opted for a more controlled approach.

The meeting also touched on long-standing company goals, including the potential replacement of software engineers with AI and the shift towards open-source AI. Zuckerberg repeated his publicly stated views, but chose to avoid addressing the Trump settlement directly.
