Video Game Magazine Archive Now Available Online for Free

The Video Game History Foundation has launched its digital library, featuring thousands of classic video game magazines. The archive includes the entire print run of Game Informer and hundreds of issues of Official US PlayStation Magazine. Other notable publications such as UK-based Push Square are also included.

The collection spans over 30,000 hand-curated files, with more to be added in the future. While the resource is free for everyone to use, donations are being accepted to support the project.

Gaming magazines have played a significant role in shaping the gaming industry and enthusiast culture. The archive provides access to valuable content, including articles, ads, and covers featuring iconic titles such as Ghost in the Shell and PaRappa the Rapper.

The Video Game History Foundation’s digital library is available online at archive.gamehistory.org.
