Justin Baldoni Sues Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Over Alleged Defamation and Bullying

Justin Baldoni has filed an amended lawsuit against Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging defamation and bullying. The 224-page complaint accuses the couple of working together to tarnish Baldioni’s reputation in response to his civil rights complaints.

The allegations center around a New York Times report that accused Baldoni and his publicists of spreading false information about Lively. However, metadata from the Times’ website suggests that the paper had access to Lively’s complaint at least 11 days before the story ran.

Baldoni also accuses Reynolds of using his character Nicepool in “Deadpool & Wolverine” to mock and bully him. The suit claims that the scene was shot shortly after a confrontation between Baldoni and Reynolds, who allegedly berated him.

The New York Times has disputed the allegations, stating that the metadata information is false. However, Baldoni’s team believes that the evidence corroborates their claims of a conspiracy to destroy reputations through lies and false accusations.

Both sides are due in court on Monday for their first hearing on their federal lawsuits.
