SpaceX Unveils Double Falcon 9 Launch Schedule for Monday

SpaceX is set to launch two Falcon 9 rockets on Monday from Cape Canaveral, generating sonic booms in North and Central Brevard County.

The first launch, scheduled for early morning at 5:54 a.m., will send up a Starlink mission into low-Earth orbit. The rocket’s booster will land safely on a SpaceX drone ship hundreds of miles offshore, avoiding sonic booms.

Later that evening, from 6:32 p.m. to 7:32 p.m., SpaceX will target a second Falcon 9 launch, sending two WorldView Legion imagery satellites into orbit. This mission will trigger sonic booms as the booster descends to Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The twin launches mark the 11th and 12th orbital rocket launches of this year from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Live coverage is available on floridatoday.com/space starting about 90 minutes before each liftoff.
