Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera Lens Rings May Detach Easily

Samsung’s latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, has raised some concerns among tech enthusiasts. A recent durability test by popular YouTuber JerryRigEverything revealed that the camera lens rings on the S25 Ultra can be popped off using a razor blade.

According to JerryRigEverything, the metal rings appear to be “glued into place like fake eyelashes.” This suggests that the mounting method for the camera rings may be adhesive-based. While it’s unlikely that these rings will come off on their own, extra caution is advised when handling them.

The test also revealed some design issues with the phone, including misaligned Samsung branding on the rear side. However, this appears to be a manufacturing imprecision rather than a camera focus issue. The display durability test showed some disappointment, as scratches started appearing at level 6.

Another notable finding was that the S Pen’s battery compartment is present but no battery is included. Titanium usage was also limited to the frame, excluding side buttons. On a positive note, the phone managed to pass the bend test.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s durability may be a concern for some users, especially considering its high price tag of $1,300.
