Samsung has teased a potential name for its upcoming tri-fold phone, which could be called the Galaxy G Fold. The name was revealed through a leak by seasoned tipster Yeux1122 (via Android Authority). While the ‘G’ in Galaxy G Fold stands for nothing specific, it aligns with Samsung’s naming series for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The upcoming phone is expected to feature a screen size of around 9-10 inches and could come with a foldable battery, potentially extending the time between charges. It may also include a second screen on the back of the handset when folded inwards, unlike the Huawei Mate XT.
As part of Samsung’s rumored 2025 product lineup, which might include four foldables, the Galaxy G Fold is expected to launch sometime during the year, possibly alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
