Andreessen Horowitz has hired former Marine Daniel Penny as an investor, according to its website. Penny, who was found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the death of a homeless man on a New York City subway, will undergo training to prepare him for his role. He will focus on investments in government and defense technology within the firm’s American Dynamism practice.
