Super Bowl Ticket Prices Plummet Despite Chiefs’ Historic Bid

Super Bowl ticket prices are dropping rapidly, threatening to fall below $4,000, despite the Kansas City Chiefs aiming for a historic three-peat and President Donald Trump’s attendance.

The “get-in” price, representing the cheapest available tickets on the secondary market, has seen significant declines in recent days. As of Tuesday, upper bowl seats were available for $4,122 each, down more than 35% from previous sales.

Market data from ticketIQ shows an average list price of $7,409, also below pre-Super Bowl prices of past five games. The NFL’s hospitality provider, On Location, is seeing its lowest Tuesday pre-game pricing since taking over the event in 2019.

Several factors contribute to the low prices, including the game being a rematch and concerns about fan fatigue from seeing the same teams frequently. Additionally, escalated hotel costs have priced out some last-minute ticket buyers.

Fans and brokers are waiting to see if prices will continue to slide as the big day approaches. However, one question remains: Could President Trump’s attendance impact the game’s popularity?
