Eagles Injuries Ahead of Super Bowl LIX vs Chiefs

The Philadelphia Eagles have released their first official injury report for the week leading up to Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs. Four players are listed under LIMITED PARTICIPATION, including Jalen Carter due to illness and Kenny Gainwell after suffering a concussion in the NFC Championship Game. DeVonta Smith is expected to play but has been managing his practice workload.

On the other hand, six players are listed under FULL PARTICIPATION, with Landon Dickerson and Cam Jurgens starting on Sunday despite concerns about their knee injury. Dallas Goedert is ready to return from an ankle/rest designation, while Britain Covey has fully participated in practice for the first time since opening his 21-day practice window.

The Chiefs’ active roster is entirely healthy, with Patrick Mahomes and Jawaan Taylor listed under FULL PARTICIPATION. However, Skyy Moore remains limited due to an abdomen injury. With two players removed from the injury report, Bryan Cook and Jaylen Watson will likely be available for Sunday’s game.
