Monster Hunter Wilds PC Requirements Lowered Slightly

Capcom has released a PC benchmark for Monster Hunter Wilds, allowing players to check if their system can handle the game’s performance. The benchmark tool is available on Steam and requires compilation of shaders before running. It’s recommended to use the tool to see how your computer fares under the updated system requirements.

Previously, the system requirements for 1080p and 60 frames per second with Frame Generation enabled called for a specific range of graphics cards, CPUs, and RAM. However, Capcom has lowered the requirements slightly, particularly in storage size. The new recommended requirements are:

– OS: Windows 10 or 11
– Processor: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
– Memory: 16 GB
– Graphics Card (GPU): GeForce RTX 2060 Super or Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB VRAM)
– Storage: 75 GB

These updated requirements are expected to result in smoother gameplay at 1080p and 60 frames per second with Frame Generation enabled. However, users who tested the Steam Deck reported mixed results, suggesting that it may not be suitable for the game.

The game’s release is scheduled for February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
