NASA Goes Live on Twitch from ISS

NASA will broadcast a live stream from the International Space Station on February 12, marking the first time the agency has created an event specifically for Twitch. The live event, starting at 11:45 am ET, will feature NASA astronaut Don Pettit and Matt Dominick, who recently returned to Earth after the Crew-8 mission.

Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions about living in space during the live chat. This is a departure from NASA’s previous Twitch broadcasts, which have focused on specific events such as spacewalks, launches, and landings. Instead, this event is designed with the Twitch community in mind, providing a unique experience for fans of the platform.

The move aims to reach new audiences and get them excited about space exploration through digital platforms like Twitch. With over 1.3 million followers on the live-streaming video service, NASA is looking to engage its existing fan base as well as attract new ones.
