Microsoft Fixes Windows 11 Bug Glitches with Latest Preview Build

Microsoft has released a new preview build of Windows 11, focused on fixing bugs and glitches that have been plaguing the operating system. The latest build, version 26120.2213, brings several important fixes to the Start menu, Task Manager, and File Explorer.

The most notable fix is the resolution of an issue where Task Manager was incorrectly displaying zero running processes, a problem that affected many users. Additionally, a bug that prevented games from launching has been resolved.

Microsoft has also fixed issues with the Windows 11 Start menu, including excessive spacing between apps in the list and problems with reliability. In File Explorer, items in the navigation pane were becoming too spread out, and RAW images taken in portrait mode were displaying incorrectly.

Minor fixes have also been applied to the taskbar, including a problem where the ‘X’ button to close windows was not working correctly.

While the latest build is notable for its focus on bug fixing, it’s clear that Microsoft has more work to do. The company is still investigating issues with gamepad keyboards and corrupted desktop backgrounds on multiple monitors.

Despite the rocky start to Windows 11 24H2, it appears that Microsoft is committed to addressing these problems and improving the overall user experience.
