Google is using the Super Bowl as a platform to showcase the impact of its artificial intelligence (AI) models on small businesses across America. The company will feature 50 customer stories from all 50 states, highlighting how its AI technology has helped these businesses improve efficiency and quality in various aspects of their operations.
As part of its “50 Stories, 50 States” campaign, Google will profile small businesses that are leveraging its Workspace platform and Gemini, a generative AI chatbot. The businesses featured include companies from different industries such as Massachusetts’ Joe the Architect, Oregon’s Jacobsen’s Salt Co, New Jersey’s Nuts.com, and Texas’ Bison Coolers.
These businesses use Google Gemini to help with tasks like writing grant proposals, developing marketing copy, and creating designs in Slides. For example, Bison Coolers co-founder Jeremy Denson said that using AI tools has helped the company save jobs and improve efficiency despite higher manufacturing costs.
Google emphasized its focus on small businesses as they are critical drivers of the US economy. With over 34 million small businesses accounting for 43.5% of gross domestic product, Google aims to highlight how its technology can help these businesses succeed.
