Microsoft Releases Two New Windows 11 Preview Builds

Microsoft has released two new preview builds of Windows 11, one for the Beta Channel and the other for insiders in the Dev Channel. The latest update introduces several features and improvements, including enhancements to jump lists, File Explorer, and windowing.

Notable changes include a new feature that allows users to launch apps as administrators by holding Shift and CTRL when clicking on a jump list item. Additionally, fixes have been rolled out to address issues with the See More menu in File Explorer, mouse unlocking in games, and windows moving unexpectedly after waking from sleep.

However, users should be aware of known issues, including a problem with Narrator that causes it to crash when using natural voices like Jenny. To resolve this issue, users can switch to another voice or use a secondary screen reader.

The updates are available for download through KB5046746 in the Dev Channel. The official changelog and build announcement post can be found on the Windows Blogs website.
