The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for their highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch in New Orleans. The teams made significant strides in injury reports, with several key players cleared to practice.
For the Eagles, DeVonta Smith’s hamstring injury remains a concern, but Jalen Carter was upgraded to full practice participant after battling an illness on Wednesday. The team’s other players practiced fully, despite some notable injuries such as Nick Gates’ groin strain and Brandon Graham’s elbow issue.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs only had one limited player in their Thursday practice report – WR Skyy Moore, who is currently on injured reserve but has been cleared to return. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was listed as a full participant after dealing with an ankle injury, along with T Jawaan Taylor and P Matt Araiza.
Despite these minor setbacks, both teams appear relatively healthy heading into Sunday’s game at the Caesars Superdome, where the Eagles will look to exact revenge from their loss in 2023.
