Zotac has launched a priority access campaign to distribute limited stock of its Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 graphics cards, targeting loyal Discord users who have shown active engagement with the brand.
The “priority access” program aims to bypass resellers and scalpers by offering GPUs to genuine gamers and enthusiasts. The initiative starts today and will run for several weeks, with eligible customers having a chance to secure a GPU purchase.
To qualify, users must demonstrate their loyalty and participation in online discussions on Zotac’s Discord server. The company plans to use a combination of factors, including user engagement, online behavior, and random number generators, to select invitees for the program.
Zotac has warned that participants who engage in spamming, low-effort messages or toxic behavior will be disqualified and potentially have their serial numbers exposed if they are found scalping GPUs.
The company currently has limited stock of RTX 5080 AMP Extreme INFINITY units, but no 5090 models are available at this time.
As the RTX 5000 GPU market remains highly competitive, other companies like Newegg and Nvidia may also consider launching similar programs to bypass resellers and meet demand.
