The server status webpage shows that all servers, including PlayStation Video and the store, are experiencing issues.
PlayStation has not offered an explanation for the outage, which has sparked frustration among gamers. The company’s silence is particularly notable given that some popular games, such as Fortnite and Call of Duty, have been impacted by the outage.
Gamers took to social media platforms like Reddit and X to express their disappointment and inconvenience. Some were unable to play games this weekend due to the outage, with many looking forward to a beta version of Monster Hunter Wild or a double XP weekend in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
