Sports Interactive has made the difficult decision to cancel Football Manager 25 due to unforeseen challenges that have hindered its development. The game was initially delayed twice, with the latest release date moving to an unspecified time this year.
The cancellation affects all platforms and versions of FM25, meaning it will not be released on PC, Mac, or any other platform. For those who pre-ordered the game, refunds will be processed automatically through official SEGA-approved retailers.
Sports Interactive had hoped to create a massive technical and visual advancement in the series, but despite the efforts of its team, the game fell short of its goals. The development team is now focused on creating a new release that meets the standards players expect from the franchise.
