According to police, event organizers had been refused permission for the performance in one of Bengaluru’s busiest areas. Despite claiming he had permission, Sheeran stated that the plan was to perform at the exact spot beforehand. The decision left fans disappointed on social media, with some expressing support for local rules and regulations.
