Phoenix-based Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is set to become a separate entity as part of Honeywell International’s plan to split its businesses into three publicly traded companies. The aerospace business, based in Arizona, will be separated from the automation unit and is expected to be completed by mid-2026. As Arizona’s second-largest defense contractor, Honeywell Aerospace has over 2,000 contracts valued at $657 million and employs around 7,124 people, making it the state’s 23rd largest employer. The company’s headquarters will remain in Phoenix, with no planned workforce changes.
