Chicago Auto Show 2025: Mile Per Hour Run and Wheel of Fortune Auditions

The nation’s largest auto show is underway in Chicago, with the 117th Chicago Auto Show marking its 117th year. As the city prepares for day two on Sunday, thousands of avid athletes and car enthusiasts took part in the Miles Per Hour Run event.

For the first time this year, the run was held indoors, with participants covering a nearly 2.5-mile loop through the stunning auto show floor. A total of 750 runners and walkers from all walks of life joined the event, which aimed to promote healthy living and running at various ability levels.

As participants completed their runs, they were rewarded with hardware, and many praised the unique experience of running among cars. The Chicago Auto Show is open to the public daily from 10 a.m. until February 17, with adult ticket prices starting at $17.

In addition to the Miles Per Hour Run, “Wheel of Fortune” social media correspondent Maggie Sajak will be meeting possible contestants for auditions on Sunday. Participants must be 18 years or older and can register in advance at the North Hall ticket lobby of McCormick Place. The event also features a family zone with interactive experiences and video game simulators.

With the auto show running until February 17, fans can expect to see exciting new vehicles, including the Rivian and Tesla’s Cybertruck.
