Verizon to Offer Discounted Google One AI Premium Subscription

Verizon will soon offer a discounted Google One AI Premium subscription to its customers. Starting February 6th, the carrier will expand its current list of discounted perks by adding the AI-powered cloud storage subscription for $10 a month, half of its regular $19.99 monthly price. This comes with significant savings of almost $120.

Verizon customers will gain access to 2TB of cloud storage through Gemini Advanced and Gemini in Workspace apps, which include Gmail, Docs, and others. Additionally, subscribers will benefit from Google’s member benefits, including:

– Unlimited Magic Editor saves in Google Photos
– 10% money-back on Google Store purchases
– Sharing the AI Premium Plan with family members until June 30th

While Gemini Advanced is the headline offer, the extra storage is crucial for digital hoarders. However, the unlimited Magic Editor saves and 10% refund on Google Store purchases are also valuable perks.

There are a few missing pieces in Google’s storage plan, including YouTube Premium and Fitbit Premium. U.S. customers will not be able to access these through Google’s current subscription line up, but can opt for cheaper alternatives through Verizon or purchase unlocked Pixel devices with free Google One AI Premium for a year.

For those looking for an affordable way to access Google’s AI premium, buying an unlocked Pixel 9 directly from Google and picking up a cheap SIM-only deal may be the best option. However, waiting for future discounts on the Pixel 9 is recommended.
