Boston University’s Cole Hutson scored a game-winning goal to lead his team to their 32nd Beanpot championship. The freshman earned tournament MVP honors after recording two goals and two assists in the victory over Boston College, which marked the Terriers’ first title since 2022. Hutson’s achievement is also notable as it surpasses that of his older brother, Lane, who was part of BU’s last championship win in 2022 but left for the Montreal Canadiens.
