Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Extended Until February 17

Capcom has extended the Monster Hunter Wilds beta after a PlayStation Network outage forced its closure for 24 hours. The outage occurred on February 7, with Sony citing an “operational issue” as the cause. This left players unable to play their games online and affected single-player titles that required authentication or internet connectivity.

As a result, Capcom has rescheduled the beta’s second session from February 6-9 to start this Thursday, February 13, and end on Monday, February 17. The extended period will allow players to continue testing the game’s multiplayer mode, completing challenges, and battling fearsome foes like Arkveld.

During this new period, participants will still be eligible for participation bonuses available in the full version of Monster Hunter Wilds. The game is set to launch on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
