Apple is expected to refresh display sizes in its upcoming iPhone lineup, including a potential new standard model with a larger screen size and a slimmed-down “Air” version of the 17 Plus.
The company may introduce an iPhone 17 model measuring at 6.3 inches, similar to the current iPhone 16 Pro models. However, there is only expected to be one non-Pro model in Apple’s lineup this year.
Meanwhile, rumors point towards a change from the traditional Plus model to an “Air” moniker for a slimmed-down version of the iPhone 17 Plus. Its display size has been speculated at 6.55 inches, and will feature a more scratch-resistant outer glass with advanced Corning technology.
Other notable features expected in upcoming models include smaller Dynamic Islands on iPhones Pro Max devices, new metalens designs allowing for enhanced Face ID systems, as well as improved Ceramic Shield protection against damage.
