RED has introduced its trade-in program, allowing customers to exchange their existing cameras for credits towards the purchase of new V-RAPTOR models. The program is now available for the latest generation of RED cameras, including those with the new Z Mount.
Customers can trade in their existing RED DSMC, RAVEN, SCARLET-W, DSMC2, or RANGER cameras and receive a credit towards the purchase of a new V-RAPTOR XL [X] Pack or V-RAPTOR [X] Pack with either the new Z Mount or RF Mount.
The company has also expanded its V-RAPTOR [X] Upgrade program to include the V-RAPTOR [X] Z Mount, offering an upgrade for V-RAPTOR 8K VV and V-RAPTOR XL 8K VV cameras to the latest V-RAPTOR [X] 8K VV Global Shutter sensor.
The upgrade includes supplemental board updates and modifications to support the more powerful V-RAPTOR [X] 8K VV Global Shutter sensor, featuring extended highlights mode, phantom track for virtual production, an all-new audio architecture, and more. Pricing starts at $12,500 for eligible cameras.
Eligible cameras include RED DSMC2 MONSTRO and RANGER Models, as well as older models from the DSMC1 series. Customers can trade in their existing cameras on RED.com > My Account > Registered Products to confirm their trade-in value and initiate the process.
