SpaceX Launches Starlink V2 Mini Satellites with Falcon 9 Rocket

SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket on Monday evening from Vandenberg Space Force Base, carrying its latest batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit. The company had initially delayed the launch by over two hours and didn’t provide a reason for the change.

The flight, dubbed as Starlink 11-10, sent 23 satellites to space after launching at 6:09 p.m. PST from Space Launch Complex 4 East. SpaceX reused the Falcon 9 first stage booster 1071 on this mission, which marked its 23rd flight and had previously supported NASA’s Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) spacecraft.

The reusable booster successfully landed back on the ‘Of Course I Still Love You’ droneship just over eight minutes after liftoff, marking the 120th landing for OCISLY and the 407th overall.
